DESCRIPTION:Plan an arts weekend getaway in the beautiful Carson Valley\, full of music and Art! \nThe Carson Valley Arts Council announces the 5th Annual Carson Valley Art Studio Tour. Bring your family and friends for this free creative drive yourself tour of 15 studios with 26 artists on Saturday\, Oct. 11 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday\, Oct. 12 – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. \nPrinted and online studio maps will be available in September at local galleries and the Carson Valley Arts Council\, 1572 U.S. Hwy 395 N\, Minden\, Nevada and participating galleries. In September\, the tour website CVASTour.org will also include an interactive online map and downloadable pdf file with the studios\, galleries information and art examples and background for each artist. The website also includes a schedule of special demonstrations and music features. Visit eight studios or galleries to become eligible to win free art.
