SUMMARY:A.V.A. Ballet Theatre and the Reno Phil's Alice in Wonderland
DESCRIPTION:Reno\, NV – The fall season for A.V.A. Ballet Theatre opens with the classic ballet\, Alice in Wonderland\, on September 21st and 22nd at the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts. Choreographed by Alexander Van Alstyne\, Alice in Wonderland is the captivating story of the young girl and her adventures in Wonderland. \nThis enchanted story is filled with mesmerizing dance\, intrigue\, and is fun for the entire family. The beautiful score will be performed by the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra. Laura Jackson will be conducting. \nOutstanding guest principal dancers who have danced with larger city ballet companies will perform with the large cast from A.V.A. Ballet Theatre. \nThe Saturday September 21st performance will be held at 8pm and the Sunday September 22nd performance will be at 2pm. Ticket prices for adults are $30 to $60 with discounts for seniors and children. For tickets call the Pioneer Center at 775-434-1050 or on-line at pioneercenter.com. Box office hours are Monday through Friday 10am to 4pm. \nA.V.A. Ballet Theatre is the resident ballet company of the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts.
