What? Our exhibition of contemporary art “Dying/Drying” by Dasha Jamison (President of Pastel Society of NV) and Yana Lev Daw (Channeled Art)is happening November 11th – November 13th, at Alpha Voyage Gallery (9420 Del Webb Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89134).

When? The Grand Opening Event is happening on Saturday, November 12th, from 5 PM – 8 PM. The Special Guest of the grand event is Mrs. World America 2022 – Doryanna. 

The Queen who wears her crown in honor of Nature will be greeting, co-hosting, and taking pictures with all who attend!  

Where? Alpha Voyage Gallery (9420 Del Webb Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89134).

Why? The goal of the art and the event itself is to draw attention to the current ecological catastrophe happening in Southern Nevada and our neighboring states, particularly, the drying/dying lake, Lake Mead, and the catastrophically low level in the Colorado River.  

The impacts are enormous: economic, natural, and governmental. 

The guests will immerse in the visual experience designed by the artists and can participate in the surrealistic creation of art.  

As artists living in the environment, we get our inspiration from it and can not be silent about the issues. Our work involves inspiration from Mother Nature and its feminine energy elaborating on the issue and bringing our perception of the metaphysical and dreamlike way that goes beyond the surface. 

Where texture meets color to become Art; the two different art styles meet to speak together as one. The themed color of the exhibition is Purple/Violet emphasizing the mystery and spiritual aspect. 

It’s a reflection. It’s an illusion. It’s a reality. It’s a loss of it all.
