Ever wonder what it is like to study music?  This open house event for students, parents, and community members of all ages provides the opportunity for you to explore studying music performance, music education, jazz, recording arts, composition, and music history at the University level.  This event is FREE, however registering in advance is encouraged!  Come for the entire day, or just a couple of hours, and experience for yourself what it is like to major, minor, or participate in music at the University of Nevada, Reno.  Who: Middle School Students, High School Students, University Students, Parents, and Community Members of all ages  Meet: Instrumental Faculty, Jazz Faculty, Music Education Faculty, Musicologists, Composers, Conductors, Recording Arts Technicians, Music Fraternities, Music Sororities and Music Students  Tour: Performance Halls, Rehearsal Spaces, the University Fine Arts Building, and the Church Fine Arts Building  Listen: Performance groups such as student winds, brass, strings, voice and percussion chamber ensembles, student jazz combos, our Wolf Pack pep band, mariachi ensemble, and faculty performers.
