Artist and Educator Andrew K. Thompson will lead a 1-hour virtual workshop on how to photograph artworks and live performances using equipment from any budget.

About Andrew:
Andrew K. Thompson is an artist and educator working in Southern California. He holds an MFA in Studio Art and Design from the California State University, San Bernardino, a Certificate Degree in Art Business from New York University, and a BFA in Photography from the Academy of Art, San Francisco. He has exhibited throughout the United States, including at the California Museum of Photography, The Center for Fine Art Photography, Lancaster Museum of Art and History, the Riverside Art Museum, the Ontario Airport, Sturt Haaga Gallery at the Descanso Gardens, Klotz Gallery NYC, Gallery 1/1, and the SRO Photo Gallery at Texas Tech University. Thompson co-founded The Little Gallery of San Bernardino, an artist-run space dedicated to regional artists of the Inland Empire. Musings on his work have appeared in L.A. Weekly, KVC_aRts, Artillery Magazine, KCET Artbound, and The Photo Exchange.

Before earning an MFA, Thompson was a product photographer for Safeway, Gottschalks, OshKosh B’gosh, and Macy. Thompson has photographed 2-D and 3-D artwork for nearly two decades, notably for Artist Pension Trust, Martin Lawrence Galleries, Charlie James Gallery, and Netflix Blown Away judge Katherine Gray.
