Celebrating 100 Years of art in Nevada.  The Latimer Art Club, is named after the famous artist Lorenzo Latimer, and is a 501(c)(7) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the fine arts in a wide variety of mediums.  Lorenzo Latimer greatly influenced Nevada’s artists in the early 1900s and co-founded the Nevada Museum of Art. He was a successful artist and teacher in the Bay Area of Northern California and traveled to Reno, Nevada to create his art.

This show hosted by the Artist Co Op Gallery of Reno is the beginning of a series of events in 2021 celebrating the 100th anniversary of the oldest art club in Nevada.
