The RTIA Show is Nevada’s first international art and design fair and anchors a far-reaching vision, the Reno Creative Movement, which aims to position the Reno Tahoe region as a thriving arts and culture center.
Taking place at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center September 8-11, 2022, the RTIA Show will present 200+ local artists and bespoke furniture designers as part of the central Heart of Reno feature as well as 40+ national and international galleries and features in an adjoining ballroom. Additional features include the RTIA Sculpture Walk with large scale artworks from this year’s Burning Man lining the entrance as well as 40+ additional sculptures inside, original work attributed to Jackson Pollock in a 50′ pavilion, award winning short film screenings curated by Cordillera International Film Festival, presentations from UNR, TMCC, Sierra Watercolor Society, Latimer Art Club, Tahoe Art League, Sierra Arts Foundation, The Generator, Holland Project, Buffalo Creek Art Center and an expansive showcase of contemporary Native art at the First Nations, Indigenous People Pavilion. The RTIA Show includes two charitable components: a silent auction benefiting The Eddy House as well pre-bidding capabilities for the doors of the Art for Recovery presented by Renown.
The RTIA Show weekend includes an Opening Night Concert at The Cargo at the Whitney Peak Hotel and a regional art awards ceremony at the Nevada Museum of Art.
