DESCRIPTION:Earth Day Sandy Valley NV Fifth Annual Micro*Fest: Let’s Play! \nEarth Day’s annual worldwide celebration will be honored in Sandy Valley\, Nevada (hour south of Las Vegas) on Wednesday April 22\, 2026\, from 2-4 p.m.\, rain or shine. \nThis year’s festival will provide informal community round tables that will include topics on local focused air\, water\, geology\, and gardening tips. \nThere will also be acoustic sing-alongs\, storytelling\, games giveaways and swap table for garden plants\, tools and small useful items. \nBenches\, bathrooms will be available; stadium-pads and lawn chair highly encouraged. You may also bring your lunch! \nFree for all ages. SUMMARY:Caribbean Heritage Festival
DESCRIPTION:Sample the traditions\, music\, and flavors of the Caribbean. Bring a blanket or low back chair and enjoy a day of performances that will include calypso\, reggae\, traditional Cuban music and sounds direct from the Caribbean.  Also featuring children’ activities\, community exhibitors\, artisan vendor booths\, a variety of food trucks\, and an alcohol vendor. Sammy Davis Jr. Festival Plaza is outdoors. Ice chests permitted for water only. Parking is available throughout Lorenzi Park grounds. Pets will not be permitted inside the festival plaza.
