OPEN CALL for Reassembly Required Juried Exhibition

The Clark County Public Art Office is pleased to announce a call for art for Reassembly Required, an art call that explores the themes of dismantling, assembly, and the creation of new works through the manipulation of materials. Artists working in collage and assemblage are invited to submit their work, which challenges the notion of what it means to take things apart and put them back together. From cutting up photographs and fabric to assembling action figureheads with needle-nose pliers, the art call seeks to examine the creative process of destruction and reassembly. The juror for this exhibition is Jeannie Hua, a Las Vegas-based artist who has shown throughout Clark County and beyond! She primarily works in collage, making her a perfect artist to juror this exhibition.

Awards: Best in Show will receive a $300 gift certificate and two honorable mentions will receive a $150 gift certificate each. Awards will be distributed at the exhibition reception to artists in attendance.
