SUMMARY:Three-Day Creative Writing Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Calling adults of all ages – ready to explore your creative side?\n\nJoin us June 23-25\, 2025 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum for our “Experiences in Nature” creative writing workshop. This fun\, interactive\, three-day workshop will be led by Nevada Arts Council teaching artist and bestselling author\, Joylynn M. Ross (also writing as BLESSED selling Author E. N. Joy\, JOY\, N. Joy and Joylynn M. Jossel).\n\n\n\n\n\nWhether you’re new to writing\, already love to write and tell stories\, or feel as though you don’t have a creative bone in your body\, it’s okay. Still join us. The goal isn’t to produce the next world-renowned author or literary classic. It’s to have fun\, fellowship\, and connect with one another through stories and storytelling.\n\n\n\nFiction or nonfiction\, let’s carve out three days of dedicated time and space to allow our literary juices to flow. Adults of all ages are welcome. Prompts will be provided\, you can free write\, or write about a personal (or make believe) experience in nature. Ross and her amazing assistant will be there to offer guidance\, tips\, feedback\, suggestions\, or to just listen.\n\n\n\nLight snacks and refreshments will be served each day\, and all supplies and material will be provided. On Day Three\, each attendee will receive a certificate acknowledging their participation and effort. Everyone should be celebrated for sharing their story and everyone’s story should be celebrated!\n\n\n\nThe fee is $30 for all three sessions.
