SUMMARY:Robert Burns Celebration
DESCRIPTION:This annual event\, draws approximately 450-500 attendees from northern Neva­da and northern California\, making it one of the largest such events of its kind on the West Coast. The celebration includes a whisky tasting courtesy of Breakthru\, dinner (including that most Scottish of dishes… haggis)\, presentation of the Scot of the Year\, Highland dancers\, and a performance by Sierra Highlanders Pipe Band. Through generous donations from the community\, we are able to continue our endeavors\, and to contribute to Northern Nevada’s many cultural events.\nReservations are now open for the highly anticipated 42nd Annual Robert Burns Celebration presented by the Nevada Society of Scottish Clans. This extraordinary event honors the life and works of the renowned Bard of Scotland\, Robert Burns.Prepare yourself for a night like no other as we transport you to the heart of Scottish tradition and culture.
