SUMMARY:Youth Art Month Family Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Youth Art Month Family Festival\, a free event hosted by Arts for All Nevada\, will take place Saturday\, March 8\, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lake Mansion Arts and Cultural Center. The Festival features eight hands-on art stations\, a free book for every child courtesy of Spread the Word Nevada\, self-guided tours of the Lake Mansion\, and a pop-up store. \nMusic Together will present an interactive musical program at 11 a.m. and Zucker Donuts will be the festival’s food vendor. Festival attendees are invited to be a part of the creation of a Community Rock Garden that will take place on the Arlington Avenue side of the Lake Mansion. \nThe Youth Art Month Family Festival is supported by the Nevada Arts Council\, Port of Subs\, the Nell J. Redfield Foundation\, the John Ben Snow Foundation\, the E.L. Cord Foundation\, the Robert Z. Hawkins Foundation\, the Marshall J. SUMMARY:Lake Mansion Holiday Family Art Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Lake Mansion Holiday Arts Festival\, a free family open-to-the-public festival hosted by Arts for All Nevada kicks off the holiday season on Saturday\, Nov. 9\, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The festival features eight hands-on art-making stations\, a holiday-themed selfie station\, and a holiday pop-up store. Every child in attendance will receive a free book from Spread the Word Nevada\, and there will be a toy drive to benefit the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation.  The historic Lake Mansion\, decorated for the holidays\, will be open for self-guided tours. \nThe Lake Mansion Holiday Art Festival is made possible through the generous support of the Nevada Arts Council\, the Nell J. SUMMARY:A Haunted Night at the Mansion
DESCRIPTION:Join Arts for All Nevada on Oct. 19\, 2024\, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the historic Lake Mansion in Reno for “A Haunted Night at the Mansion\,” a fundraising event featuring a ghostly transformation of the mansion\, spooky cocktail punches by local bartenders\, a silent auction with unique art and experiences\, eerie crafting projects\, live music by the Jason King Band\, and delicious bites prepared by culinary students. Tickets are $60 in advance\, $70 at the door\, and all proceeds support the Artist in Residency Program\, placing teaching artists in special education classrooms throughout northern Nevada. Costumes encouraged!
