DESCRIPTION:Boulder City Friends of the Library is hosting its bi-annual Big Basement Book Sale in Boulder City Library Basement. Browse a selection of thousands of donated and discarded books\, Hidden Treasures\, music\, movies\, puzzles\, games\, and more!  \nThe silent auction features themed baskets that promote local businesses. \nWith the exception of Hidden Treasures\, all items have a suggested donation amount. Hidden Treasures are books of hidden value\, signed copies\, first editions\, rare books\, etc. They are priced by title and book condition.  \nPark on the east side of the library and enter directly into the basement.  \nThis is a family friendly event\, kids welcome!  \nAll proceeds directly benefit the Boulder City Library or literacy within the southern Nevada Community.

SUMMARY:Concrete Collage: Hoover Dam Workshop with JM Huck
DESCRIPTION:Relax and spend the morning at Boulder City Library making washi paper collage artwork\, in tribute to the Hoover Dam\, to which the Southwest owes much of its development. In this 2 hour workshop\, participants can choose from a color palette of blues and browns to make their own scene of the Hoover Dam. Images of scenic viewpoints will be provided for inspiration. All art materials and supplies will be provided (paper\, scissors\, glue).Adults and families with children ages 6 and up are welcome to attend. This event is free and open to the public\, but please note space is limited. Register in advance through Boulder City Library.
