You will also have the chance to network with like-minded professionals and participate in interactive discussions and workshops.
The 3D printing conference’s goal is to foster a collaborative and inclusive community of 3D printing and additive manufacturing practitioners, researchers, and enthusiasts. We believe that by bringing together diverse perspectives and expertise, we can accelerate the development and adoption of this game-changing technology, and create new opportunities for innovation and growth.
We invite you to join us at the 3D Printing Conference 2024 and be part of the exciting future of 3D printing and additive manufacturing.

The history of 3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing (AM), dates back to the early 1980s with the conceptualization of various additive techniques. One of the pivotal moments came in 1984 when Chuck Hull invented stereolithography (SLA), marking the commercial birth of 3D printing by solidifying photopolymer resin layer by layer using UV lasers. Subsequent decades saw the development of other key technologies such as selective laser sintering (SLS) and fused deposition modeling (FDM), leading to the commercialization and widespread adoption of AM across industries by the 2000s. Advancements in materials, processes, software, and automation have further expanded AM’s capabilities, enabling applications in aerospace, healthcare, automotive, and more. Looking forward, ongoing research aims to enhance speed, scalability, material options, and integration with other technologies, promising a future of even greater innovation and impact for 3D printing.
