Immerse yourself within the stories that the artists are depicting and live your Full on Fantasy!

This exhibition was juried by Sara Jean Odam, a painter who paints to connect. Her paintings are rooted in observation, empathy, time, and attention. Her direct experience of home, people, and the language of oil painting offer endless opportunities to playfully wrestle with the dark and scary parts of life. Her paintings are windows into intimacy, loss, transformation, letting go, and failure. Born in 1980 in Chicago, Illinois, she is a Midwesterner at heart and spent 20 formative years studying and working as a painter on the East Coast, primarily in Brooklyn, before landing in Vegas in 2020. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting from Boston University. She has attended residencies at Chautauqua Institute and Vermont Studio Center. Her work has been exhibited in Boston, Massachusetts, including at The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, in Brooklyn, New York, and Las Vegas, Nevada. Her work has also been commissioned for television, Broadway and for several productions for Spiegelworld Production Co. including “Absinthe” at Caesars Palace, Superfrico at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, and Diner Ross at the LINQ. She was recently accepted into The Canopy Program through NYC Crit Club and will be exhibiting work at The Canopy Studio in Chelsea, New York, and is working toward a solo show at The Studio at the Sahara West Library in Las Vegas in early 2027.
