Oksana Marafioti is an award-winning memoirist, educator, and speaker, and a recipient of honors from the Library of Congress, Black Mountain Institute, Leipzig University, and the National Endowment for the Arts. Her work has appeared in Time, Slate, LA Times, Rumpus, and other publications, and she has spoken at institutions including the Library of Congress and the United Nations. Marafioti leads writing workshops and cultural programs across the U.S. and Europe and is currently working on her next book.
