The Red Rock Legacy Trail Sculpture Project is to seek an artist to design and create a public art piece that celebrates cycling while honoring lost cyclists. The sculpture will be placed within the trailhead parking lot of the Red Rock Legacy Trail.
The Red Rock Legacy Trail is a paved multi-use path that will provide safe and accessible recreational opportunities for pedestrians and cyclists in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area (RRCNCA). Clark County is installing a signalized intersection at Sky Vista Drive and West Charleston Boulevard that will provide access to a trailhead parking lot. The parking lot will be located on the south side of West Charleston Boulevard, west of the West Career & Tech Academy.
