Join us for the Scorpion Den Open House as NSSA showcases the newly renovated space. This event includes the unveiling of a new mural, “A Desert Dreamscape” by Eric Vozzola, which was commissioned by NSSA with support from the Office for the Arts.
Eric Vozzola is a Las Vegas-based artist known for vibrant color palettes and imagery inspired by the desert landscape he calls home. His work blends fine art and design principles—balancing geometry, abstraction, and organic realism to create immersive, uplifting visual experiences rooted in thoughtful storytelling and site-specific design.
A commissioned muralist since 2014 and a full-time professional artist since 2019, Vozzola developed his artistic approach alongside a graphic design career after earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2011. His background in design, illustration, and art direction continues to shape his collaborative and adaptable approach to large-scale public artworks and boutique commissioned works, alike. As a husband and father raising his family in his hometown of Las Vegas, Vozzola draws continued inspiration from the desert environment, community, and sense of place that have shaped both his life and his work.
Eric’s fine art, design, and murals can be found throughout southern Nevada and across the country, including Oregon, Florida, and Georgia. He has partnered with public agencies, schools, hospitals, cultural institutions, global brands, businesses, and private collectors — always guided by the belief that art and design should be meaningful, accessible, and deeply connected to its environment.
