Arthur Richmond, or A.R.T. by signature, is a self-taught visual artist and muralist. Inspired by nature, he uses bright saturated acrylic colors, illustrative line work and a pop surrealist style to paint large scale murals that are both informative and positive. His public mural work across Nevada and the country have always been rooted in environmental and humanitarian subject matter. He often uses local fauna and flora to help conceptualize ideas that beautify locales and tell narratives about the local history, culture or surrounding environment.
