Fil Corbitt is an audio artist and radio journalist in the Sierra Nevada. Their primary project is a podcast and radio show called The Wind, from a handmade desk in the mountains. Their audio work has appeared on NPR, Snap Judgement, 99% Invisible, USA Today's The City, BBC, and on public and community radio stations across North America. Corbitt’s popular weekly short-form radio segment Postcards from The Wind airs on Reno's public radio station KUNR on Thursdays, and internationally on public radio program The World. Corbitt's work interrogates our relationship to place through sound through audio collage, interview, binaural soundscape recording and prose.
