Matthew Morgan

Matthew Morgan is the founding artistic director of Nevada Shakespeare Festival. He has worked professionally as an actor, clown, writer, producer and devised theater creator for more than 30 years. In addition to his love for the works of William Shakespeare, Morgan has a side hustle as a circus artist and director. He is resident director at the Atomic Saloon Show for Spiegelworld, as well as artistic director of Stinky Monkey LLC a circus/variety touring company he runs with his wife, Heidi Brucker Morgan. Morgan has also appeared on Broadway at the New Victory Theater, headlined Germany’s “Circus Flic Flac” and spent 10 years clowning and hosting Spiegelworld’s Las Vegas smash hit “Absinthe.” Morgan co-created and directed "The Princess Wendy Late Night Tease Room,” which was awarded Best New Variety Show of 2019 by the Las Vegas Weekly, his other Shakespeare Company “Shotspeare” has had extended runs in New York City, Los Angeles, Adelaide in Australia, and Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood Casino. Morgan is constantly trying to devise new ways to affect and entertain the world through classical theater and circus.
