Joan P. Dudley is a writer and editor. She has taught composition, English, and literature classes at the College of Southern Nevada, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and the Clark County School District.

Dudley received a bachelor's degree in English from Michigan State University and enared an English education master's degree from Wayne State University and an MFA in English from UNLV.

Poetry of Place–exploring community and personal history. A six-week Creative Aging communities series drawing on local historical photos and documents, personal journaling, and interactive activities, cumulating in a public poetry reading.
