Vanessa Maciel Napoles

Vanessa Maciel Napoles is a Mexican Folk Artist formally educated with local artisans at the Arts Institute of Guadalajara, Jalisco. She has lived in Las Vegas for eight years and has come to love the desert landscape and the community. Inspired by her culture and heritage, she creates mixed media artwork utilizing natural materials such as paper, wood, wire, iron, and cardboard. Her main goal is to keep her culture's traditions alive through passing them on to the next generation.
