A Talk with Amy Smith & June Saraceno: Two Poets for National Poetry Month
April 21 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
Free

Amy Smith is a recent graduate of the low-residency Master of Fine Arts program in poetry at the University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe. Smith, a Carson City resident, has been experimenting with visual poetry, playing with the dance between text and visual art. She continues to write poetry in the face of, well, everything, because what else can a poet do?
June Sylvester Saraceno, Truckee resident, is the author of the novel “Feral, North Carolina, 1965,” and three poetry collections. She is current faculty and director emerita of the low residency MFA program in creative writing at the University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe
