Learn to Play the Zampoña (Peruvian Pan Pipes): Three weekly 90-minute lessons regarding notes of the zampoña where you’ll learn to play songs with Kantu Inka culminating with a concert with the band on July 23 during the Senior Center lunch.
Carlos Ocampo, a professional Andean musician and composer for over two decades in the Cusco region of Peru, and Julie Lozada Ocampo, who plays zampoña and percussion, unite their musical and teaching experience performing as Kantu Inka.
Time & dates: 2:30-4 p.m. June 25, July 9 and July 16, culminating with July 23 at 11-11:45 a.m.
