We will have professional photographer, Michael Plyler, as our guest speaker for the month of August. Michael will teach attendees how to photograph their artwork for portfolio, social media, and submission use. Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask Michael questions regarding photography.

Photographer Michael Plyler has been making photographs for over forty years. His work has been exhibited extensively in both the United States and abroad. He has photographed the highland Maya of Guatemala since 1982, and fifty six pieces of this body of work were placed into the permanent collection of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian 2013.
