Poetry Out Loud – Clark County District Semi-Finals

Clark County District Semi-Final Nevada Poetry Out Loud Competition Poetry Out Loud (POL) is a national arts education program that encourages the study of great poetry.
This program helps students master public speaking skills, build self-confidence, and learn about literary history and contemporary life.
Clark County students will recite poems from the Poetry Out Loud on-line anthology. The student that wins the district competition will compete in the state final competition.
The student that wins the state competition will represent Nevada in the national competition.
Nevada Poetry Out Loud is a statewide program of the Nevada Arts Council.
Free and open to the public.
Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis and may be limited.
