The webinar will highlight types of interactions that produce good will, positive reactions, and opportunities. In addition, the webinar will go over strategies artists can deploy by leveraging soft skills such as email craft, attentive reading, genuine enthusiasms, and professionalism to stand out as an artist and create opportunities for pay and prestige in your community and beyond. This workshop is framed for creatives in the fields of music, however topics discussed are applicable to artists in all disciplines.

Tristan “Tanjint Wiggy” Acker is a writer, musician and arts organizer in Southern California’s Inland Empire. In addition to performing throughout the Southland solo and with his groups Fam Likely and West Coast Avengers, he works with youth throughout his home region in after school hip-hop and poetry programs. In recent years, he’s been producing a documentary series about local hip-hop and co-founding a local music awards show using community resources to focus on creating platforms for the next generation of artists in his hometown of San Bernardino and beyond.
