VA Sierra Nevada Creative Arts Competition

RENO, Nevada – VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System offers veterans a chance to demonstrate their artistic talents in the visual arts at the McKinley Arts & Culture Center, Gallery East and West. The local event is part of the 2025 National Veterans Creative Arts Festival. The exhibition will run from June 23 – July 31, 2025.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs medical facilities incorporate creative arts into their therapy programs to further the rehabilitation goals for both inpatients and outpatients. This annual competition recognizes the progress and recovery made through that therapy and raises the visibility of the creative achievements of Veterans. The first-place winners will advance to the national level where they will compete with entries submitted by veterans from other VA facilities from across the country.
