JEAN EARL’S ARTIST TALK AND RECEPTION ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 28

Please join NAC for an artist talk featuring Reno artist, Jean EarlThe reception and artist talk will take place in the OXS Gallery in Carson City on Tuesday, August 28 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The talk begins at 6:15 p.m. The event is open to the public and free.

For more than half a century, Jean and Phillip Earl of Reno used clues from old maps, letters, and books to hunt for and document Mountain Picassos: Basque Arborglyphs of the Great Basin distinctive figures carved into aspen trees found in the high country meadows of the Great Basin.  This exhibition has been featured at the OXS Gallery since July 30, and will remain in place until September 7. The OXS Gallery is located at 716 N. Carson St., Suite A, in Carson City. It is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and admission is free.  For more information
