LXS 2025

Since 1985, the Legislative Exhibition Series (LXS) has displayed artwork by Nevada artists on the first floor of the Legislative Building during the biennial legislative session. For this session, LXS is showcasing the newest Nevada Touring Initiative exhibit – Notions of Erasure: United By Territory and Rural Moments – and ten poems selected by the Nevada State Poet Laureate, Shaun Griffin. Each poem was published in Razor Wire, a journal of prose, poetry, and art from the Northern Nevada Correctional Center.

Managed by the Nevada Arts Council Artist Services Program, LXS has featured work from 170 Nevada artists over the past 40 years. The LXS gallery space is on the first floor of the Legislative Buildings at 401 S. Carson St., Carson City.
