The Nevada Basin to Range Exchange (BRX) is a professional development networking opportunity designed to facilitate collaboration between rural and urban communities in Nevada. The biennial in-person gathering provides a unique setting catered towards understanding, and cultural development by supporting collaborative practices and shared investment in community development. This convening empowers individuals to take an active role in shaping the cultural landscape of Nevada; participants include artists, local volunteers, urban and rural professionals, educators, and local leaders.

Are you wanting to learn more about grants that support Nevada cultural organizations? Attend this session to help you prepare your grant application.
Project Grant for Organizations (PGO) is an annual grant designed to support the arts and cultural activities of organizations and public institutions. The funds may be used to support a single project or series of related projects.
The Operating Support Grant (OSG) supports general operations of nonprofit arts organizations throughout the state. Funds may be used for expenses that include administrative salaries and benefits, payroll expenses, insurance, facility space rental, utilities, and contracted and professional services. Operating Support Grants are awarded on a two-year cycle and are administered in two separate payments.

Learn about the variety of venues available to all Nevadan artists and/or arts organizations. Meet our peers who host and coordinate a number of events at venues, galleries and cultural facilities. This year’s inaugural fair will offer presentations from the City of Las Vegas, Clark County, Winchester Dondero Cultural Center, the City of Henderson, the City of Reno and CSN (College of Southern Nevada). There will be 30 minutes scheduled specifically for questions.
