Big Head Bob, created by David Bradley Schnitzer, has collaborated with NASA, Wynn Resorts, and Clark County School District.
David Bradley Schnitzer grew up loving art classes, broadcasting, and entertainment. He now does educational entertainment with a focus on mental health. Big Head Bob is the vehicle he uses to illustrate social-emotional learning. The mission of Big Head Bob is to bridge cultures and communities through mindful education. Bob's big head is a metaphor for physical or mental imperfections. David, with the help of Big Head Bob, teaches how to navigate difficult situations in a healthy manner.
More than 1,000 virtual and in-person classrooms and after school groups have benefited from the Big Head Bob program. Almost 200 YouTube videos featuring songs, poetry, breathing exercises, and collaborations with Cirque performers and mental health professionals are part of this mindful program.
The Big Head Bob books and some videos are offered in Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin, French, German, and American sign language.
