THE ‘NOT-SO-LONELY’ ILLUSTRATED CONCERT SERIES: THE TOIYABE TRIO
The Toiyabe Chamber Music Society is collaborating with The Fallon Theatre, the oldest continuously operating theater in the state of Nevada, to present the “Not-So-Lonely” Illustrated Concert Series. The road may be lonely — but the stage will be filled with these slightly off-beat illustrated concerts — international stars and local heroes present musical performances accompanied by projected images. Join us for an evening with The Toiyabe Trio, Dustin Budish on viola, Aaron Hill on oboe, and Emily Montoya Barnes on harp, featuring new works by Nevada’s own nationally known composer, Monica Houghton. TCMS presents performances by small ensembles in inviting venues that draw on the rich tradition of classical chamber music, while embracing innovative and evolving approaches to the genre. Good music in good spaces.
