Veteran’s Day Ceremony at Henderson
The annual event pays tribute to our patriots and military heroes and includes a presentation of the names being added to the Henderson Veterans Memorial Wall, recognition of veterans’ organizations, presentation of colors and a special musical performance by the Henderson Symphony Orchestra.
This year’s Veterans Day Ceremony will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. at the Water Street Plaza Amphitheater.
The Henderson Veterans Memorial Wall was dedicated in November 1994, and local veterans are honored annually at Henderson’s Veterans Day Ceremony. Constructed as a community tribute to our hometown veterans, names are added to panels of the wall honoring all veterans who lived in Henderson at the time of their service.
