“…It has been a long time coming.
I have collected mental notes. This sculpture and that one. Making connections through the idea behind the choice of materials. The time has come to put them together. Incomplete. Yes, incomplete, but finally here. This collection, not in its first form. And not in its last. The connections existed. I just brought them together and there is more to be done.
I’m happy to bring you the Villa of the Mysteries as you might more easily pronounce it. But you may possibly
never discern it. The artists in the show bring to you sculptures emerging from discarded materials to meet you at your arrival. Sculptures perched on pedestals to whisper secrets of their former forms. And installations to challenge you and your expectations. I invite you to wonder at the wonders.
