Grant-info

The Grants Program reflects a significant commitment by the State of Nevada to support the creation of art and access to the arts for its citizens. Nevada Arts Council (NAC) grants support the efforts of nonprofit arts and community organizations, public institutions, and individual artists to make cultural activities and experiences widely available to those who live in or visit Nevada.

The reach of this program is expansive – grant recipients are found in every corner of the state and sponsor activities such as exhibitions, concerts, film series, and festivals. Grant funds also support Nevada’s dance, opera, and theatre companies, symphonies, orchestras, choral groups, and local arts councils statewide. Though a NAC grant may be a small percentage of a receiving organization’s total budget, the importance of these dollars reaches far beyond actual cash value – serving as a catalyst for other public and private funding.

All NAC grant applications are submitted through our online grants management system that guides you through the application process by combination of help screens, links to instructions, and checks for math and other errors. Follow the instructions to register online, create your applicant profile, answer narrative questions, complete the budget section, upload support material and submit the completed application.
