“Notions of Erasure: United By Territory”Nevada Arts Council City of Reno City HallMetro Gallery April 27 – June 18, 2026 The Metro Gallery presents Notions of Erasure: United By Territory, an exhibit that provides an opportunity for the residents and visitors to view selected works from the 2023 Nevada Arts Council Visual Arts Fellows. This traveling exhibition, curated by the Nevada Arts Council’s Artist Services Program, features 2023 fellows: Jeffrey Burden of Las Vegas, Glynn Cartledge of Reno, Gig Depio of Las Vegas, Miya Hannan of Reno, Brent Holmes of Las Vegas, and Bobbie Ann Howell of Las Vegas. Each artist created work independently of one another and with no intention of ever appearing together; yet, when shown alongside one another, the exhibit reveals how an artist’s place, time and environment can create unexpected and unintended connections that share human experiences.
