For six weeks (July 7, 14, 21, 28, Aug 4, 11 from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.), members of the 55+ community will gather to pen whatever piece of creative writing flows through their heart, soul, spirit, and a beautiful mind.

The culminating event of the 6-week program, held Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 5:30 p.m., will be a community reading in which participants of the 6-week program will have the opportunity to share information about their story/writing piece and/or read an excerpt of their writing piece. Participants will be given the opportunity to share what their writing experience felt like, what it means to them, and how it has changed their life (or even the lives of others). The community is invited to share in what will be a milestone life experience for so many literary artists and to support their efforts in penning and sharing their written words.

This is a free event. Come out to show your support as well as hear stories that just may touch your life.
