Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grants CYCLE 10 & 11

Website New York Foundation for the Arts
Cycle 10 of the Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grants is now open with a deadline of December 1. Cycle 11 will be open January 23 – February 23, 2024.
This program has been updated to reflect the current, still challenging, working environment for dancers. It’s open to dancers who are in a dire financial emergency due to the loss or lack of recent/current live performance work, because of circumstances outside of their control. Common circumstances include cancelled performances, cutbacks or cancellations of dance engagement contracts, loss of touring opportunities, and ongoing shutdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact. Two more cycles are scheduled through June 2024.
DANCERS: Are you a dancer anywhere in the US in dire financial emergency because of lack or loss of work? You may be eligible for a one-time Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grant of up to $3,000 through this national program. Cycle 10 is open through December 1 for essential expenses such as housing, medicine/healthcare, and food. A recorded information session, along with guidelines and the online application, are available here.
Cycle 11 will be open January 23 – February 23, 2024.
These programs are open to artists living anywhere in the U.S, its territories, tribal nations, and the District of Columbia.
