WELCOME NAC’S NEW COMMUNITY ARTS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

Grace Davis joined NAC in 2019 as the Community Arts Development Specialist. She is excited to join the NAC’s team, bringing unique experiences while collaborating with a dynamic staff to continue the accessibility of arts and culture throughout Nevada.

Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Davis was inevitably enchanted by the west. She received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MA in Art and Design Education from Rhode Island School of Design. Grace has designed and implemented innovative arts programs for all ages and educators for the last 10 years. This programming spans museums, community organizations, and health care including Chinati Foundation in Marfa, Texas, AS220 in Providence, Rhode Island, and Renown Health in Reno. She is also a practicing artist working primarily in acrylic and gouache as an abstract painter. She has exhibited across the country and held residencies in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jackson, Wyoming, and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
