PROJECT GRANT FOR ARTISTS
Because of changes in funding policies, the FY27 Project Grant for Artists will no longer be offered. The Nevada Arts Council remains committed to supporting individual artists and investing in their work within the guidelines we must follow. To continue this support, we will introduce a new Professional Development Grant for artists, beginning July 1, 2026. Details about eligibility and how to apply will be shared in the coming months. We encourage artists to stay informed and consider this new opportunity to support their professional growth.
The Nevada Arts Council Grants Program reflects a significant commitment by the State of Nevada to support the creation of art and access to the arts for its citizens. Nevada Arts Council grants support the efforts of nonprofit arts and community organizations, public institutions, and individual artists to make cultural activities and experiences widely available to those who live in or visit Nevada. The reach of this program is expansive – grant recipients are found in every corner of the state and sponsor activities such as exhibitions, concerts, film series, and festivals. Grant funds also support Nevada’s individual artists, dance, opera and theatre companies, symphonies, orchestras, choral groups, and local arts councils statewide.
